Another good season for the Reserves achieving their main aims
-
Feeding and supporting the 1st team (with over half the players used for the Reserves making NW Counties appearances)
-
Success on the pitch with a Manchester Amateur Cup win
-
Coaching the young Road team to play in the right style and spirit of the club, and being rewarded by winning the Mid Cheshire League Fair Play Trophy
-
Continuing to promote youth with the majority of players being under 21.
The only slight disappointment was the tailing off of league form towards the end of the season meaning only a mid table finish.

Pickup & Crane’s record with the Reserves over the last four seasons has been:
2 – Manchester Amateur Cup Winners
1 – Mid Cheshire League 2 Cup Winners
2 – Mid Cheshire League Fair Play Trophy Winners

Next season will season some exciting challenges under Crane’s stewardship not only trying to continue the last four years’ success, but also to compete in an invigorated Mid Cheshire League 2 featuring FC United Reserves!
